This website has had to have the images of Miffy removed due to threats from the lawyers of Mercis B.V, the owners of the copyright to Dick Bruna's images. Mercis B.V. however, has established that on their rights infringement is being committed on the following website: http://www.miffy.zzn.com Not only are, without the permission of Mercis and/or Dick Bruna, many figures of Dick Bruna displayed on this website, also the wording "MIFFY" is multiple exposed.

The Miffy figures distributed among the general public by means of the above URL are reproductions or moderations of works of Dick Bruna. Thus infringement is committed of Mercis B.V.'s copyrights, and Mercis B.V. sustains a loss in consequence. Moreover, the trademark MIFFY is used in the aforementioned domain name. Therefore, also Mercis B.V.'s trademark rights are infringed.
